What is it?[]
The Biome Scanner tells you how much of the taint you have cleared from the map and displays it on the Island map in front of it. It takes up a room on the Jaded, the Situation Room. If you destroy a piece of the map simply enter creative mode and place a new Island Mapper block (it will display the iceberg section) then destroy the scanner controller and replace it. (it is in the center of the table, where you normally would start a scan) and the map will reset to the correct formation without any affect on already cleared taint.
